Falcons vs Eagles Live Game,The Philadelphia Eagles need a win in Week 10 to stay afloat in the NFL’s most competitive division. That’s a tall task with Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, and one of the league’s best offenses coming to town. The Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in a showdown to put Philadelphia’s defense to the test. Ryan has been the league’s second-most prolific quarterback in 2016, trailing only Drew Brees. His success is tied to wideout Jones, who has continued to be a revelation in his sixth season as a professional.
Falcons vs Eagles Live
Through 74 career games, no player since the 1970 AFL/NFL merger has had more receiving yards or 100-yard performances than Jones. In fact, you’d have to give the second-place finisher, the uber-underappreciated Torry Holt, nine more games to even match Jones’ prolific start.

Ryan and Jones have teamed up for 51 receptions and 970 yards this year, but that doesn’t mean the duo is unstoppable. Three teams — New Orleans, Denver, and Green Bay — have limited Jones to three catches or fewer this season. Those efforts didn’t make much of a difference, however; Atlanta still won all three of those games.
Philadelphia could be similarly effective against the Atlanta passing attack. The Eagles rank fifth in the league in opponent passer rating and seventh in opponent passing yards per game. The average quarterback is roughly as effective as Blake Bortles against a defensive backfield led by Rodney McLeod and Jordan Hicks.
If that secondary can’t hold up, the Eagles will have to focus on winning a shootout against the NFC South leaders. Despite being led by former Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Atlanta has given up nearly 29 points per game, good for 28th in a 32-team league. The Falcons have only held an opponent to fewer than 26 points once in 2016.
That should provide Philadelphia quarterback Carson Wentz with several opportunities to get a promising rookie campaign back on track. The North Dakota State product was one of the league’s hottest new names after leading the Eagles to a 3-0 start, but he’s struggled to keep that pace as opposing defenses have gained familiarity with him.
